Maria A. Hurley, Massachusetts Licensed riding Instructor.  38 years of hands on Horsemanship, Showing, Teaching & Owning Horses, particularly Arabians.  Specializing in Spiritual Growth, Natural Horsemanship and emphasizing the "relationship" of the horse & human in all her teachings. Maria started teaching riding lesson at 8 years old on her own pony to help with my board and upkeep. Working under several noteable Licensed Instructors, she's proud to be the Horsewoman she is today.   A member of the Arabian Horse Association, The Natural Horsemanship Boston Group. (NHB) and American Quarter Horse Association.  Maria was previously employed at Ironstone Farm In Andover as a Therapist Coordinator. Maria worked in conjunction with Therapist's representing the Equine part of the Therapy session, helping Therapists to meet their strategies with our clients.  Maria's experience working with Special Needs, children & Adults has been extremely rewarding.  Maria has many years teaching experience all seats, Dressage being the basis of her riding instruction. Her passion is the "healing" that horses bring to our lives, physical, mental and spiritual.  Her goal is to funnel that healing to all that will have it. Besides being a Licensed Instructor & Owner of Divinity Farm. Maria was previously layed off from by Cycles 128 Beverly, MA New England Power Sports, incorporating her passion for Iron horses (motorcycles) and knowledge of Sales and Finance, she worked as a Business Administrator supporting the Finance & Business departments.  Just more of making peoples dreams come true.  Her work history entails Business Management, Accounting, Executive Assistant, Property & Casualty Insurance, & Real Estatate, Legal Assistant for an Attorney . She  had the opportunity to study child care & become certified and licensed. She owned and ran my own home Child care Business from 1999 -2003, in efforts to work and take care of my own young children. She is  CPR certified in both pediatric & Adult CPR. Maria has a  love for children, teaching & working with them.She is a Notary Public.  Maria has been in the Beauty Industry, as a Salon Owner & Licensed Cosmetologist for many years. Maria's passion is anything related to "Horse's" .  Maria also practice's Reiki healing. Being very ambitious, she  is constantly attending /School/College and furthering her education. Especially committed to weekly riding lesson with my own personal Instructor.  Her  future goal is to become NARHA certified. Parelli Certification.  Other future goals are further certifications in Horsemanship, Legal/Law, Reiki & Web Design.  She also enjoys teaching Bible school to the children at her church, Grace Ministries, Saugus, MA.  Recently, Maria started a consignment shop at her church to help support the church financially. The shop is called Born Again Boutique.

Amanda, like Maria is a member of WNRDC and AQHA.  Amanda has joined the Divinity team as an Apprentice.  She is a highly regarded important member of our team and hand picked as so. Amanda is assisting in all aspects of Divinity including the Hippotherapy program, lesson programs, pony rides and camps. Amanda has been riding and showing since a toddler and she own's her own horse Spanky. She is currently 16 years old and is always looking for a challenge. She rides many seats including English, Western, Jumping, and Eventing. he also enjoys doing in-hand work such as Parelli Natural Horsemanship, Halter, and Showmanship.  Spanky, her horse, is a 19 year old Quarter Horse mare. Spanky was her 8th birthday present and is her pride and joy. Look for this team at any local events such as Groton House and Pipestave. Amanda is very intelligent for her age and shows much potential in the equestrian world. She has previously shown AQHA and has many championships across the board. Presently, she is choosing to take a different route in riding and is excelling in the Eventing world. She is an awesome addition to the programs at Divinity and Stone Ridge Farms.

About Jaime Velez: Horse lover, Farm Owner, Breeder and Massachusetts Licensed horseback Riding Instructor. Jaime has earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Equine Management and an Associates in Equine Science Studies. Bilingual, and his ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish makes him "The Superb Horseman & Instructor". 

Approx. 35 years ago Jaime's career started out in his Native country, Colombia. Jaime  has dedicated  his life to his career in the Horse Industry. He works with children of all ages.  He himself grew up on a farm, working, riding and caring for horses.  He is also employed at Ironstone Farm in Andover and has been for 7 years. Jaime has much experience in teaching Vaulting, and Thereputic Riding,  as well as standard English seats.  If you have questions for Jaime, please feel free to email him at jaimevelez@divinityfarm.com.
